Stop The Clock, Split The Day

Here’s How It Works

Stop the Clock, and Split the Day

Do you have a lot of down time between when you need a limo or Party Bus?
If so, you can avoid paying for that down time with our “Split the Day Your Way” option

Here’s an example:
You’re going to a concert on a Tuesday that runs from 7:00pm – 11:00 pm.
You want a ride for an hour to the concert, and then an hour to get back when you are done.
Just rent for the total service time (as opposed to down time) you need (which in the above example is 2 hours), and tell us how long you want the free non-service time to be.
That’s it!

 Restrictions
No Holidays or Ky Derby Weekend.
No locations out of the Greater Cincinnati area for pickups or dropoffs.
Split day rentals not eligible for any coupons.  Do not select a special offer if you want to stop the clock!!

Sunday – Friday Rules
• The minimum paid time is 2 hours (which you split into 2 chunks of time)
• The maximum paid time for each chunk of time can be any duration as long as the total time is 12 hours or less.
• Each chunk of paid time must be a least 1 hour

• Unpaid non-service time must be a minimum of 3 hours.

Total time is limited to 12 hours, including paid time (for example, 3 hours paid + 6 hours unpaid + 3 hours paid = 12 hours.  12 hours total paid and unpaid time is the max you can do.

• Unpaid non-service time must be a minimum of 3 hours.

If you are stopping the clock, you must specifically state that on the itinerary and we must receive the itinerary 2 days prior to the date of service, or we will not be able to allow you to stop the clock.

Runover time is expensive, so be sure you have enough time when you make your purchase. Please note that unused time from the first chunk of time that you requested cannot be used for subsequent chunks of time.

You cannot change the duration of the paid or unpaid time in the middle of your trip or the day of your trip. Most people underestimate how long they need service for each time period – be realistic!

During the unpaid time, you will need to remove all your possessions from the vehicle. The chauffeur will leave the area, and turn off their phone. They will not come back till the planned start time for the next chunk of time, and the clock then restarts regardless if you are ready or not. It may be a different chauffeur or a different vehicle (but the same seating capacity).

This product has a nasty habit of becoming a planning nightmare for the customer. Look closely at our rates – it’s very cheap to just keep us there and available for the whole time instead of stopping the clock in the middle, and hoping your plans work out the way you think they will.

It’s your choice. Choose wisely!

Note:  If you split the day, you are not eligible for any other offers that may be running at the same time.

We are in the process of updating our site to accept these type of rentals.  For now, please book the amount of service time you want excluding the free down time you want.  Then live chat us and tell us your name and booking ID and the amount of down time you want.  We will then manually adjust your rental as requested.
